I found this card over at someecards.com:
- We've been building and growing at the Real Estate Tomato (new clients, fun projects and training, etc.).
- I was a featured speaker at Inman Real Estate Connect in San Francisco in addition to having spoken at several other association events (both private and public).
- Started focusing on being more healthy; sorta (eating better, drinking more water, running again).
I'm being somewhat vague in my accomplishments here and part of that is on purpose. In short, it's been a productive summer but there's still more (lots more) that I want to accomplish. I'm sure you do too!
Things I'd Like To Accomplish:
- Establish more consistency in my blogging. I'm thinking (3) three blog posts a week. Seth Godin and Valeria Maltoni are hitting on daily. I think I can manage at least three.
- Be more consistent with my newsletter. To date, I haven't been very consistent at all. This needs to change. I'm aiming to write at least every 2-3 weeks (but only if it's helpful).
- Book at least (2) two more speaking engagements. I love speaking. There's something exhilarating about being in front of a live audience.
- Like the blogging, I'd love to establish a little more consistency in my running as well. I used to run 3 miles every other day (then 6 miles in between). That was before and during my first year of college. If I could stick to 3 miles every other day, I'd be happy.
- Remodel the office: more paintings, a couch, and an a/c unit. Don't get me wrong, my office space is ok but it could be better. I have a stereo, a television (that I'm getting rid of), a fridge, a big desk and some plants. I want it to be/feel more creative (it'll suit me better). This requires spending some money to get it done but I feel it'll be money well spent.
There you have it! Some of my goals for the month of September. I'm taking today off to reflect on what I've accomplished and strategize over "next steps" for what needs to get done moving forward. Sometimes, putting it out there in the open pushes you and holds you accountable to getting it done. That's why I'm participating in Modite's Monthly Goal Meetup and I think you should too: http://modite.com/blog/2009/09/03/september-monthly-goal-meet-up/
